Eve has a deep passion for inclusive, participatory and innovative approaches to social change. Driven by this passion and an entrepreneurial mindset, Eve co-founded and launched the Netherlands’ leading organization that works towards co-designing inclusive public spaces. Eve is a firm believer in the notion that ‘none of us is as smart as all of us’. In this regard, Eve applies a holistic and intersectional perspective to the problems she aims to tackle, consistently pushing for meaningful inclusion of end users throughout the entire process.
Her expertise is rooted in strategic and systems thinking and extends to international development and humanitarian sectors. Eve has a strong track record applying design thinking and co-creation in fields of sexual reproductive health and rights, gender transformation and peacebuilding.
In her work leading multi stakeholder projects to co-create meaningful and lasting social solutions, Eve integrated both conventional and unconventional approaches to more effectively measure and encourage positive perspective shift and behavior change.
Eve joined ThinkPlace’s Washington D.C. team in 2021 as a Senior Strategic Designer, leading diverse teams of stakeholders in designing and facilitating co-creative approaches to scalable behavioral interventions in the USAID-funded Breakthrough ACTION program across Africa and Central and South America.
Eve holds a bachelor’s degree in International Development and Middle Eastern languages and a dual master’s degree in Women and Gender Studies. She has presented at conferences and events including in Rwanda, Ivory Coast, Belgium and India.
