Hannah loves uncovering the complex social dimensions of organisational and policy problems, from discovering how a small business-owner navigates online services to drawing on the insights of frontline staff to build better businesses.
Hannah is a rigorous thinker, passionate about turning complex ideas into simple and engaging messages.
She understands government from the inside through working in the public service, including a role as part of Australia's Presidency of the G20.
As part of the ThinkPlace team she has worked on a broad range of projects including envisioning the future that government will face, co-designing new organisational strategies, running innovation labs, and holding design thinking training.
Hannah sees the bigger picture and helps her clients map out their systems, through collaborative workshops that draw on diverse perspectives.
Hannah frequently runs training on co-design and design thinking, and believes teaching is about learning by doing. Participants in her training programs run through real activities on real topics – no one comes to the classroom as a blank page and Hannah excels at drawing on students’ experiences through case studies and discussion.
