Dane is passionate about empowering people and organisations to create social impact and positive futures.
Dane has a strong background in industrial design and design-led innovation, and works with government agencies and not-for-profits to tackle complex problems and deliver smart system, service and product solutions that make a positive difference for people and communities.
Dane has a particular knack for creating shared value, particularly where there is an intersection of government, industry and the community working together. He has worked extensively designing and developing digital services across state and federal government agencies, driving an agile, human centred and co-design methodology to ensure real benefits are delivered to all users and stakeholders.
Dane has helped an Australian state department reimagine the future experience of development applications through a user centred co-design process. During this project Dane demonstrated the value of meaningful engagement across state and local governments, professional organisations, representative bodies and the broader public. The end result was a solution that delivered value to both the department and the community.
Dane has a first class Bachelor of Design in Industrial Design and has completed a User Experience Design course at General Assembly, Lean UX and Agile training with Nielsen Norman Group and PRINCE2 Foundation level training.
