Adam is curious about understanding complex challenges and systems. He brings a strategic design approach informed by design research, service design, and participatory design when working with people, communities, and organizations to create civic and social change.
As a Strategic Designer at ThinkPlace, Adam will be supporting social and behaviour change projects within the Breakthrough Action consortium.
With a background in international development, Adam worked in Ghana and Kenya for 5 years supporting social impact organizations in a research and design capacity. Projects that he worked on ranged from exploring financial inclusion tools in DRC, designing family planning products in Kenya, and designing digital health tools for a UN agency.
Through his journey, Adam has found his work at the intersection of human-centered-design, technology, and social impact. He holds a MS in Strategic Design from Parsons School of Design, a Postgraduate Degree in Social Innovation Management at Amani Institute, and a BES in International Development at the University of Waterloo.
